When you register interest on buck-e.co.za, you share a few details with us. This page explains what we keep, why, and your rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE COLLECT

• Your work email address
• Your company name and fleet size, if you give them
• When you registered, and how many times

We count page views as a simple daily total. We don't use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics services, and we don't store IP addresses. Your paint choice (light or dark) is remembered only in your own browser.

WHY WE USE IT

Only to contact you about BUCK-E: first details, pilot opportunities and launch dates. We don't sell or share your details, and we don't send them to anyone for marketing.

WHERE IT'S KEPT

Your details are stored on servers in Amazon Web Services' Cape Town region, with a backup in the same region. Notification emails to our team pass through our email providers.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Until twelve months after BUCK-E launches, or sooner if you ask us to delete it.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Just email hello@buck-e.co.za. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
